BBQ Pulled Chicken


  • 2 pounds of chicken breasts
  • 2/3 cup BBQ sauce (naturally sweetened or low sugar if possible)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • dash salt and pepper


  1. Place all ingredients in a crockpot.
  2. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  3. Shred with a fork. Keeps well for leftovers. Serve with sprouted bread, stuffed in a pepper or on top of a salad.
